Police are going door to door as they investigate a shooting Fri night on Allied Drive.Various calls came in to the 911 Center Friday night around 9 o'clock. Witnesses spotted two men walking about the 2300 block of Allied Drive, taking pictures at apartment buildings with handguns.
No person was injured, but architectural structures were hit causing property damage. The suspects fled the region prior to police arrival. Quite a few shell casings were found die wussten at the scene. Police say 15 to 30 shots were fired on the bottom.
They also believe the taking pictures is related to similar shootings on Pine lane, Coho Street, and in Penn playground.
Note from MPD:MPD wants to reassure the community that we are actively performing the "shots fired" event from Fri night. Patrol officers, West area Policing Team and Investigators are investigating.
