Mr Murray, 46, is standing in a constituency that the Conservative Party won from Labour in the previous election this year.

An internet site Mr Murray has set up for his campaign, carries the slogan: "Other parties provide you with the moon over a stick. We'll fare best than that: a uk moon with a British stick."
His party is employing an upturned pound sign for a logo, within a clear parody in the UKIP symbol.
Mark Berry, who's known as the Happy Mondays dancer Bez, officially confirmed earlier in the week he will stand for election in Salford for his Reality Party, after announcing his plan a year ago.
