The chair of the Biamanga National Park board of management has hit out with the state government more than a lack of consultation in front of the announcement of four new flora reserves earlier this month.

"Our plan of management continues to be approved and it will cost them more income, although the government says they do not have any more money."
Mr Stewart's father and grandfather worked in the logging industry and that he understands both conservation and native industry.
"The Aboriginal folks have worked with this environment their whole lives," he said.
"Our culture wasn't an issue in the decision, however the flora continues to be."
Mr Stewart said he was shocked to hear there was also no consultation with all the Bega or Merriman Local Aboriginal Land Councils who've land bordering the reserves.
