Renowned cult film director and producer Brian Yuzna has unveiled plans to open a specialist horror training academy in Birmingham.
The film maker, famed for his work with ray ban 90% off horror movies Re animator and Society as well as family hit Honey, I Shrunk your children, outlined his plans to launch the centre during a visit to Birmingham City University.
The academy will likely be specifically focussed on horror films and students given a collision course inside ray ban sale 2016 the history of the genre, through the days of silent cinema to current blockbusters, to help shape their movies.
Mr Yuzna has previously ventured into Europe and opened the truly great Factory studio on holiday in 2000 which has produced low quality horror, sci fi and fantasy films with a focus on developing local talent.
He was quoted saying: "The idea is usually to co ordinate with all the university to generate a course that would result in a feature film that may actually be obsessed about the general ray ban sale film market.
"We would look at what produces a horror or genre movie and exactly how it fits in the history of cinema. Basically, should you not know the genre you're employed in you're at a disadvantage.
"Just just as one architectural student must understand the style that they're working in, you simply can't make a movie without context.
"I think Psycho was the film that truly knocked it of the park and kind of established the model to the slasher movie.
"There's a wider acceptance now of horror movies, or a few things i refer to as 'genre movies'. I always feel like horror is supposed to be transgressive, there should be something ray ban 90% off regarding it that goes on the edge. Horror is the rock and roll of cinema."
Experts with the university have welcomed the newest horror training ray ban sale 2016 academy.
