Purple and Lime Green Christmas with just a tinge of Yellow

I posted this as part of my Christmas post on Open last year.

The original formatting went poopy on it and it only got a few visits so I decided as a "Tink's True Christmas Well Wishing and Heart Felt thanks to one and all", I would post it and get at least another two people to read it.

The original story was written a few years ago as part of a Christmas letter that I and the wifey sent out to the family(it was the second Christmas letter story I had ever written, the 1st being 'The Cat who Hated Christmas' but that story was never saved to disk nor posted online, so it is lost. REAL TEARS)

Every year it was the same thing. Mamma bear and her two cubs would hibernate through the winter months. And every spring, the cubs would awake and be told all the fun that they had missed during a time that the other non hibernating animals called Christmas.

They made a pact with each other that this next Christmas ugg boots clearance time they would not miss.

The snow began to fall, like every year, and the three bears went into their cave to sleep the winter months away, except the two little cubs didn go to sleep.

With all their resolve, they stayed awake and snuck out of the cave on Christmas Eve.

They went to Ranger Bob cabin and stared in amazement at all the stuff there.

Ranger Bob had a large pine tree, decorated from top to bottom in lights, candy canes and lots of shiny stuff.

The two cubs looked in and then back at each other, for under the tree were presents.

They pushed open the window and crept in to get a closer look.

On each of the package was a name; the shiny wrappings enthralled the two bears so much that they didn notice Ranger Bob behind them.

Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!! he said in his biggest, deepest voice.

The two cubs were startled and started to run. But Ranger Bob laughing stopped them.

Ranger Bob smiled and sat down on a large, overstuff chair, he had a book opened on his lap.

He told them the story of how Christmas became to be, of a little baby born in a manger.

The two little bears looked sleepily at the ranger and then to each other. The ranger smiled and stood up, walking over to the tree; he picked up two large boxes and handed them to the two bear cubs. Each one looked in amazement at the names on them, for in neatly handwritten lettering, was the names of the cubs.

After a few more Christmas stories, ugg boots on sale at macys a song or two, Ranger Bob gave each cub his own candy cane and took them back to the cave, where he tucked each of the cubs in with the blankets, gave them one last hug and then crept silently out of the cave as the two cubs slowly drifted into deep hibernation.

When spring came and Mama Bear awoke, she found her two cubs still under the blankets and she was confused. When the cubs finally awoke, they told her their story of their first Christmas.
