Watch Lakenham mother describe moment her twins babies escaped hit

Carli La Motte, 35, was walking her usual route along Cooper Lane, Lakenham, with her two dogs and twin 19 month old sons when she saw a motor vehicle approaching.

She signalled because of it to stop and allow her to maneuver her sons on to a nearby grass verge. The automobile paused, however when the buggy was safely off the beaten track, the driver accelerated, trapping Ms La Motte about the car bumper and killing her French bulldog Ray Ban Sunglasses Discount cross Coco, three, who has been rescued two years earlier.

"When I saw him I put me up to signal him to prevent and permit me to get out of just how," she said.

"He stopped briefly, but just persisted towards us.

"I managed to get the buggy about the verge and leant right down to get the two dogs, but he just kept coming. I only needed a few minutes to get everyone to safety but he seemed in this particular rush."

Ms La Motte, from Lakenham, still existed with a minor injury. She's got been unable to walk the route again since the incident on Thursday morning.

"I started screaming since i didn't know what was going to happen; I may have fallen underneath the wheels of the car," she said. "He was pushing me over the path i just entered shock."

The automobile left the scene without stopping but Ms La Motte managed to take a photograph of the number plate.

"It wasn't until then I turned around and realised Coco was dead," she said. "A man ran from Ray Ban Sunglasses Discount Sale a nearby house that helped me to, and got out a dressing gown to wrap Coco up.

"I keep asking myself why however have done this. I would really like him to apologise however , I don't think he needs to have his licence.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said they're investigating the incident, they will are treating being a 'fail to stop'.

"We received reports at 11.31am on April 7 someone struggling with their buggy, a motor vehicle approaching and hitting your pet dog," they said.

"A pedestrian sustained any small injury and also the dog is currently deceased. The kids in the buggy were uninjured."
