Thousands of people gathered in Quarterly report calling on Premier Barry O'Farrell in order to reverse $1.7 billion in cuts to NSW training.

AAP adds: Opposition Leader John Robertson, who attended the rally, said: "What you'll see here right now is a groundswell of public judgment against these cuts   dad and mom, teachers and the wider local community coming together to say these reductions cannot be justified.

Mr Robertson also called on the govt to wind back the training reforms in the wake of an apparent $1 billion budget information technology mistake.
