LAS VEGAS   Southern Nevada medical officials say, so far, they have discovered 26 people with tuberculosis, although most of them are not contagious.
Based on health district officials, two members of the Summerlin Hospital staff members have active TB, which means these are actually showing signs of chlamydia and can spread it. The others have what is known as latent TB.
The 25 year old woman exactly who gave birth to premature twins at the hospital died in September from TB. Both babies passed away, one from TB and the other youngster from unrelated health issues.
