Summit report necessitates national commission to tackle domestic violence

A national commission to handle a fractured and piecemeal way of eliminating domestic violence is the key recommendation in the landmark report sent to the federal government on Tuesday.

The report through the first National Family Violence Summit located in Canberra in March has singled out primary school education, men's behavioural change programs and dedicated family violence courts since the most urgent reforms.
