Obituary for Don Cockwell

Don came to be April 19, 1938 in Barrie, Ontario. On September 1, 1958, he married Donna Purnell and they raised their children in Cranbrook. Don really enjoyed life inside the East Kootenays. He loved nature and all it was required to offer, especially golfing. Other hobbies included oakley sunglasses outlet curling, woodworking and playing his guitar for sing songs.

Don had a deep and love of his life for his family and friends. He would be a true gentleman who was simply always happy to help others, and he cared deeply for your community.

A Celebration of Life service for Don will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook. Instead of flowers, memorial donations could possibly be made to Cranbrook Hospice Society, 230   20   23rd Avenue South, Cranbrook, BC, V1C 5V1.
