Man charged in string of Chesterfield Township home invasions

Police tape.(Photo: Detroit Free Press)A 19 year old man was arraigned today after he confessed to 12 home invasions in a mobile home community in Chesterfield Township where he stole numerous items including jewelry and phones.

Police said Eric Daniel Collin, a resident of the Carriage Way Mobile Home Community, is responsible for 12 daytime home invasions dating back to early December of last year.

On Jan. 30, Chesterfield police conducted a surveillance inside the mobile home in attempt to identify the individual responsible for the home invasions.
