To enter the competition, the startups had to have aU of S affiliation, be a technology dependent idea, be located in Saskatchewan and will have started within the last year.
"Each twelve months the quality of the applicant pool increases and the judging is a bit more challenging." said ILO acting managing director Tom Roberts.
