She's now chauffeur driven from her plush Leeds motel to work where she rubs shoulders with Patsy Kensit, and she spends her days off in a whirlwind of photoshoots, interviews and meetings.
Nevertheless she remains unfazed by the consideration. She's simply living the girl's dream.
"My first day within the Emmerdale set meeting the forged and crew was unreal but I wasn't fazed because of it because I've been preparing for similar to this for years," your woman says.
"Even when people patronised me or even were critical, I realized it was possible.
"I looked up to folks who had made it and thought 'if they can do it why not myself?'"
It's taken Roxanne years of diligence and determination to get to this point and she hasn't stopped nevertheless.
"Emmerdale is the break of a lifetime as well as I'd love to stay given that my character allows,Inch she says, "but once you get a taste of it, you want it even more.
"I hope to follow in the steps of Catherine Zeta Jones. She was simply a girl from Wales!"

"Even on my days off, I am doing press interviews or maybe photo shoots," Roxanne claims.

The former Trinity School pupil's firmly knit group of family and friends tend to be her rock and have been there during the highs and lows as she strove to carve out her profession.
Long lost "friends" jumping on the showbiz bandwagon are given short shrift.
"I know the friends who have been there for me. I'm still the same Rox to them and constantly will be," she suggests.
She also has the constant service of the man in her living, James, also from Carlisle, whom she calls 'her hero', and she 'tokens' her mother and grandma with giving her the boldness to achieve her dream.

"We called our self the golden girls and would sing and dance around the kitchen.
"I did everything as a child, from gymnastics on the violin, and it was our mum who gave me the ability to try them all.
"She wasn't any pageant mum who pressed me into things, nonetheless let me find my own technique."
From the age of 10, Roxanne knew her future lay in music and dance. "I was a confident little girl and not an attention seeker," Auch sagte sie she says.
