The Joanne L. Hurley Book Prize is a cash prize to get awarded annually by The Joanne L. Hurley Foundation for the best novel or perhaps novella written by a high school student in the tri county location.

Archives group holds big open book sale
Friends of the Summerville Library will mount its Gigantic Book Sale later this month at the National Legion Post, 105 Sumter Ave. in Summerville.
