I certainly have enough students in my class (28) to always have enough there but everyone, it seems, has issues that interfere with their attendance. I am talking real problems. This is not a class of whining 18 year olds but a diverse groups of people who have real life role conflicts kids/parents/jobs/health, etc. And even my young uns have had tragedies, like family members dying unexpectedly. Very sad.

Oh well, I got paid yesterday! Certainly not worth all the time and effort but what would I have been doing with that time anyway? Spending money probably, rather than learning some new things, meeting new people and earning a few extra bucks. I put it into an account I am designating "Paris." We will see.

Good morning. I so didn want to wake up this morning. I always turn my TV on when DH brings me my tea, before he goes to work. I kept dozing on off till 7:45. When I actually woke up, I realized it raining not very warm out(48).

A reminder, today is the first day of Oct.(rabbit, rabbit), but a BIG reminder that it is Breast Cancer Awareness month. If you haven gotten your mamo for the year yet, please uggs on sale GO get it done!

Last night turned out great. We had 40 women show up. The sweet potato soup we had was delishous. I need to get the recipe. I even got a round of applause for my book, that everyone got.
