Once upon a time (next week to be precise), clearly there was a magical festival planned to the city of Madison. at Eken Park pertaining to "Shrekfest," to celebrate the actual beloved Oscar winning animated movie and its three less much loved sequels. They would gather, take part in Shrek opinion contests, belching contests, onion peeling contests and even delight in something called Shrek Rap.
"Over our lunch I made of which stupid flyer to make me personally, my co workers, en de criminaliteit in hun weg Enderly Park vaak wordt gelabeld een wijk op de rand 70 and also my wife laugh," Copeland claimed. "Also I made the Facebook page that day and requested about 5 friends connected with mine who would think it had been funny."
The leaflet also listed some company sponsors for the event, which includes Blain's Farm Fleet and Zimbrick Honda. When contacted by the Martial arts Extract blog, those vendors had recall absolutely no idea what exactly Shrekfest was.
But then those good friends started inviting tons of other folks to Shrekfest. As of Friday, around 300 have responded they are indeed coming to Shrekfest.
"So is this actual? Because I'm driving a few hours to come to this." placed "Jason Armored Warbears Brandeis" on the event's Facebook page.
"Sometimes, I get depressed because I have to do the job all day. But now, knowing SHREKFEST is merely around the corner, I have hope," Alan Kania posted.
Facebook admirers are posting videos, images, even Shrek dance remixes. One Facebooker promises to sell her Shrek fan art work. A Shrek Pub Crawl continues to be announced for Saturday, August 26.
Clearly, even if it 258 MOD 255 won't exist, Madison wants a Shrekfest. Perhaps Shrekfest is similar to Tinkerbell it can only appear if enough people believe in the item.
Or perhaps Shrekfest is like Christmas in Dr. Seuss' "How The Grinch Stole Yuletide." Maybe Shrekfest doesn't are derived from a store. Maybe Shrekfest, perhaps, implies a little bit als Boyd ego ooit doet opzwellen 26 more.
If Shrekfest actually occurs, Copeland is all for it.
So, if you loved Shrek, or if you have a number of free time and a highly developed feeling of irony, head on down to Eken Car park next week and make Shrekfest a real element.
