This long established and also popular bar and diner came under new management at the end of last year and is now to husband and wife team Darren and Amanda Johnson.
The couple took over right after making the move from one more Robinsons pub, the Coach Residence at Bentham, North Yorkshire.

The pub can be warm and inviting and the bar staff friendly and efficient. It is nicely laid out with an open fire and plenty of room so diners aren't on top of one another. When we arrived it was packed, we ordered wine with the extensive selection and waited through-out our party to arrive.

Your mushrooms were tasty but served on hunks of dry up bread, which could do with getting served with some butter as, just as before the dish was quite dry. I had assumed a mushrooms would be in a sauce but they weren't. The casino chips were frozen so refrigerated quite quickly.
Our buddy who had the burger had no complaints however and thoroughly experienced his meal.
Again, I've got heard nothing but good records from people who have eaten generally there before and since but however we must have gone on an out of night which was extremely aggravating.
