Tuesday was the first day of faculty for Boulder Valley's first through 6th graders, sixth graders and ninth graders.
Saturday is the first day of university for the rest of Boulder Valley's middle and higher schoolers. It's also the first day of school for all of the St. Vrain Valley School Centre.
First graders at Lafayette Elementary School on Tuesday morning sorted glue branches, pencils and markers in to bins, organized their companies and went over the "Cougar Computer code," which calls in students to be safe, responsible along with respectful.
Cindy Martinez considered what what to keep in her pencil bag as a first grader.
"I love university so much," she explained.
Across the Boulder Valley Classes District, students hung up school bags, reconnected with friends and got to find out their new teachers. Thursday was the first day of school for Boulder Valley elementary scholars sa han til The Columbian 15 and a transition day regarding sixth and ninth graders.
