Parents Speak Out after Stray Bullet Strikes Bus for school

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.   Student dismissal seemed very calm today at Killearn Lakes Elementary School, contrary to a frightening situation yesterday when a stray bullet struck a faculty bus.

It is something most parents and students would not expect. Police swarmed the school Tuesday afternoon after having a stray bullet struck a bus and shattered a window as students were boarding it to go home.

"It definitely was a shock," said Parent Erika Goodman.

"I wasn't apprehensive, but my children were nervous, that's normal," said Parent Leslie Costner.
