Pell grieves for Ballarat

Cardinal George Pell says he grieves for Ballarat and Ray Ban Sunglasses Wholesale prays daily for victims whose lives happen to be shattered from the Catholic Church's scourge of sexual abuse.

Inside a his bid to try to set the record straight in his hometown, Australia's most senior cleric spoke directly with all the Courier in Rome on Saturday.

"I spent nineteen and half hours refusing to defend the indefensible, I am not about to try to do that again," he explained.

"The Catholic Church has created enormous mistakes and that i accept that."

But he pledged to assist those wounded by the scourge of sexual abuse and push to get rid of Ballarat's hidden death toll comprised of suicides and premature deaths of numerous abused whose discomfort was too much to bear.

The other day, the Cardinal was accused from the Commission of "designing" his evidence to deflect blame onto other senior figures who he said deliberately "deceived" him by keeping him at cheap Ray Ban Wayfarer night about the extent of child sex crimes in the Catholic Church.

When questioned with the Courier on whether he accepted some victims would fight to ever believe his evidence, the Cardinal said he'd been honest.

"I was completely truthful in my evidence," he explained.

"I share the vision that David along with the other victims have for Ballarat," Cardinal Pell said.

"He (David) would like to see Ballarat turned into a well known centre for help and healing, rather than a place famous for being one of many worst places for paedophilia on earth. He would like to work with people, those that may be prone to attempting suicide being effectively helped. Although I go on the other side on the planet, I am ready to listen and do whatever I could to help him do this goal."

Phil Nagle was among a small grouping of child abuse survivors requested an outside private meeting with the Cardinal to go over the abuse he suffered as a result of disgraced paedophile priest Stephen Farrell while he was a grade five pupil.
