I do believe the film and TV industries must appreciate that if they really want people to pay for their content within a world where it super easy to acquire it free of charge illegally they need to provide that content in whatever medium their customers want; namely instantly, easily possibly at a low cost.

Game of Thrones is apparently one of the most pirated show ever and I think a massive part of the reason being that HBO won allow people the US or elsewhere to simply buy GoT.
