Qantas in talks with Woolies

Qantas us president Alan Joyce has labelled Woolworths an essential partner because the supermarket giant ray ban sale reviews its loyalty program url to the airline.

Woolworths is reviewing its Everyday Rewards loyalty program, and is reportedly taking a look at removing Qantas frequent flyer points due to their high cost.

'But we will need to have the right solution for all customers along with Woolworths having the right solution for customers.'

Mr Joyce said the airline couldn't survive disadvantaged financially if Woolworths opted to never renew their six year relationship in the event the current terms expire following the year.

'It's probably inappropriate that i can talk about it while those commercial discussions are occurring however i will state that the impact on this from an EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) perspective is not significant to the loyalty operation,' Mr Joyce said.
