Organisers of the eighth 12-monthly Lapworth Scarecrow Festival have a message with regard to hopefuls wanting to match this prior winner honouring pop icon Madonna   express yourself!
The village, in close proximity to Solihull, will come to life on November 15 and 16 using intricate straw creations motivated by this year's patriotic style, Best Of British   Who Designed Britain Great?
Visitors are encouraged to buy a programme, which includes a route map showing the positioning of the scarecrows, and will be invited to election in five categories: A lot of Spectacular, Funniest, Most Innovative, Most Effort and Kid's Choice, as well as a new category for juniors.
The Festival is actually a charity supporting local causes, and is run by volunteers from Lapworth Preschool and Lapworth C of Electronic Primary School.
