Knowing that country music is loved by Caribbean audiences, UB40's sax player Mark Travers said: "We've all spent lots of time in Jamaica, and new bands is very much part of the fabric. John Travers said: "We gave Melvin free reign to play Appreciate Page 87 whatever he favored, and he did an incredible task. He's a hugely spontaneous musician."
One of the most profitable reggae groups of all time, with over 40 UK Top 40 struck singles and sales of 80 million records, UB40 will play British isles tour dates in May to support the release of 'Getting Above the Storm', including the Sky Dome Arena, Coventry, upon Friday, September 13.
