Hiked with snowshoes during excellent weather (cold, clear and recent snow). It was our pandora outlet first snowshoing experience and well worth it. A good trail for a first effort in the winter. Great view from the top. Worked up a sweat but was a 'moderate' effort. The downloaded map and instructions could have been better as there are several trails involved to make up a 'loop'. The loop trails (in backcountry and on a ski area) were also well worth it. There is another trail nearby that goes to an open pit mine and there are mining camp ruins nearby (Hooper mining trail, and Blake Pond trail). Depending on weather i would try to take all these in.
