It disgusting how much shock jocks get away with in broadcasting. Because you said, controversy normally results in higher ratings, and minimal punishment (if any) from ACMA.

ACMA appear to be so ineffectual, it maddens and saddens me because I think it brings how much discourse in Australian media down so that you can cater to the cheapest common denominator the bogan if you'll.
