"Because of their sacrifice, the reflectivity I see, is a free land called Canada, right before myself."
One of the first lines involving 11 year old Madeline Crawford's award winning poetry prompted everyone at the 91st yearly På Berkeley Hög 63 Remembrance Service in Cornwall to help pause and reflect.
Crawford recited the poetry, a first place winner from the Royal Canadian Legion National Literacy and Poster Contest, through Sunday's service at the town's cenotaph.
Talking about the numerous sacrifices made by experienced persons throughout Canada's history, the poetry also celebrates the freedom folks now enjoy in this place.

It was evident that many inside the town haven't forgotten about your sacrifices made, as the 12 year old's audience clung to every term.
